Hewitt Alpine
The Hewitt Alpine is our custom built Audax frame, and can be built exactly as you wish, not just a choice of the frame dimensions, but a full choice of tubing types and braze-ons.
As is our usual way of doing things, the position is determined first, from this we can determine some provisional frame dimensions that will allow the position to be achieved. These are fine tuned by Andy, our frame builder in addition Andy will also suggest some frame tube diameters to give the desired ride quality and characteristics.

Frame dimensions, tubing type and diameters can be specified, as can the various braze-ons, jointing method etc. etc. In short, we will try as much as possible to build the frame exactly as you want.

Hewitt Carbon Audax
The Hewitt Carbon Audax is a pretty rare style of frame, it is a monocoque carbon frameset but allows up to 28mm tyres and mudguards to be fitted.

It has all the usual braze-ons fitted:
- Double bottle bosses
- Threaded gear cable stops on the down tube
- Brake cable stops (2) under top tube offset to LHS
- Mudguard eyes on the front & rear dropouts
- Integral rear mudguard fittings in brake & chainstay bridges
- Carrier eyes on the seat stays plus extra eyes on the rear dropouts
The other features are:
- 1 1/8″ integrated headtube
- 31.6mm ID seat tube
- 130mm rear dropout width
- Braze-On front changer boss
- Clearance for 28mm tyres and mudguards
- Seat clamp included
- Headset included
Hewitt Chiltern
The Chiltern is our off the peg steel Audax frame, the main triangle of which is Reynolds 631 tubing with Reynolds 525 seat-stays, chain-stays and forks. It is essentially an Audax version of our multi-award winning Cheviot touring frame.

- Brake cable stops (2) under top tube offset to LHS
- Mudguard eyes on the front & rear dropouts

The other features are:
- 1 1/8″ non-integrated headtube
- 27.2mm ID seat tube
- 130mm rear dropout width
- Band fit 28.6mm front changer boss
- Clearance for 28mm tyres and mudguards
- The frame is finished in either a flamboyant red or flamboyant blue finish, gloss laquer and decals on the seat tube, down tube and head tube.
- The Hewitt Chiltern is a comfortable, versatile frame that can be built up to suit a variety of uses, ideal for long day rides but also perfectly capable of lightweight touring.
Hewitt Aravis SL
The Hewitt Aravis SL is a lightweight aluminium Audax frameset and allows up to 28mm tyres and mudguards to be fitted. The Aravis SL is a compact style frame with an integrated 1 1/8″ head tube. Forks and headset are included with the frame.

Hewitt Aravis
The Hewitt Aravis is an aluminium frameset that allows up to 28mm tyres and mudguards to be fitted. The frame is built using 7005 aluminium tubing and has a sloping top tube and integrated head tube.
