They believe that the best material for bicycle frame construction is Titanium. So aerospace grade Titanium is the only material they use.
They started out as a family company, and remain one at heart: for example Jan’s partner is the Marketing Director and his father who’s been a keen cyclist all his life, is in charge of the engineering team. With a keen eye he oversees the hand building of every bike to each customer’s specifications. Every single member of theirr team, family or not, shares the same passion. They have over ten years of experience working with Titanium and they believe in craftsmanship. That is why every single Van Nicholas bike ordered is hand-built right here at their factory in Holland. But they constantly seek to evolve. New is the Astraeus. The first Seamless Hydroformed titanium frame drawing on work carried out at the Delft University of Technology. And a refined range of their own parts and clothing. And of course, if you want the ultimate option, we’ll even custom-build one of our frames exactly to your individual dimensions.
